BEHIND THE LENS
Rather than tell you when I got my first camera and where I went to Art School, I’ll tell you about how I love food photography.
Food is beautiful and temporary and therefore the perfect subject matter for the camera. It sustains life and is impermanent art that, as a food and product photographer, I feel a sense of responsibility to capture.
What I love most about food photography is that even if food doesn't speak, every dish has its own personality, giving each image a life of its own.
I shoot mainly with my Nikon D700 with 50mm Lens, but I also have two other film cameras and lenses that I love using.
